The Capture of Fort Ticonderoga

On the early morning of May 10,1775 at Fort Ticonderoga, Benedict Arnold of  Massachusetts joined Ethan Allen and the Green Mountain boys of Vermont in an early attack on the fort, surprising and capturing the sleeping British garrison and their belongings. Even though it was a small conflict, the Battle of Fort Ticonderoga was the first American victory of the Revolutionary War. That is why some people like to remember that small battle! The commander for Great Britain was Captain William DeLaPlace and the commanders for the US colonies were Benedict Arnold and Ethan Allen. The Great Britain  had 78 force and the US colonies had 1 captured and 168 force. Some people believe that they walked up to the fort and commander Ethan Allen said to the guards come out “By the name of Great Jehovah and the Continental Congress.” Then they walked in and took things from the British garrison and then walked out.

2017

My 2017 goal is to make it to the homeless shelter, and just help as many people as I can just on the streets. Another one of my goals is to make A-B honor roll. I would like to keep my room in better shape and try to keep my homes for the animals as clean as possible! Here are some things i’m excited about for the year of 2017. I’m really excited to go into 6th grade, and to find out who is going to be in my classes that’s right I said classes we all have different classes at different times so I’m not with just the same group all day. I’m also excited to go on summer break because I think we are going to go on a cruise again and      I really like to go on cruises because you normally get to go to cool places on it and you can get really good food anytime of the day whenever you want it which I think is AWESOME!!!! Also right now we have our house for sale and we just bought a new house which it is a pretty cool house but it needs some work we need  to paint rooms, put down new floor and other stuff but, another big thing is we are turning a little garage we have in the back yard into my nanas house and build onto it a little to make her bedroom. When we get moved into our new house and we are all settled  down we are going to get some Fainting goats and a donkey or two and some chickens to get some fresh eggs! I’m really excited to get all of those animals! It’s going to be a lot of fun to to run after the goats and make them faint because they come right back once you leave them alone for moment. That’s all I got!

History of Red Ribbion Week

image

Red Ribbon Week began when (DEA)”KiKi” Camarena was kidnapped and killed. The red stuff began CA his hometown ,began to wear red ribbons on their shirts, and then Red Ribbon Week Campaign, then in 1988 it became Red Ribbon Week. That’s what they did to show their support to them. Also on the same day Captain Zavala-Avelar was kidnapped but not at the same time. They were both found dead. They were mistakenly taken by a man and his 3 sons. DON’T DO DRUGS!!!!!!!
